Wow! Chilling! I love the other song that Jewel wrote for this friend, "...who was like a mother to me." It is called Violet Eyes. Check it out if you haen't already. I, also can't wait for her upcoming lullabye album. When will we see a "baby bump?" She and Ty would produce beautiful and talented children, God willing. Perhaps after Dancing With The Stars, 2009?

@AAAman90069 I believe this is the same friend that she talks about in Chasing Down the Dawn. Her name was Jackie and she was Jewel's best friend and like a mentor to her. She passed away from cancer. From the way Jewel describes her it sounds like they had a very mother/daughter/best friend type of bond.
