Sykes é um musico incrivel, 87 é e sempre vai ser o melhor disco do whitesnake, mesmo colocando o vai na guitarra coverdale não conseguiu a genialidade do sykes.

that's something Coverdale has to live with every day. Instead of one big selling, well written and recorded lp (Slip of the Tounge was only selling on the impact of 1987 and SOTT as a rehash of 1987 is just not that good), they may well have produced four or even five lps. Sykes writing even made coverdicks cheesy lyrics presentable!
