  • Cheryl you are awesome

  • Just for some of you people posting. I use synergy on 3 computer: 2 window$ and 1 linux machine. The linux machine and one of the PCs are in different rooms for different device setup to them. While the main one is at my desk working like a horse. Now if I had one machine for all my devices like cameras, encoders, biometrics whatever. Then one silly i7 cant be in 3 locations. So your comments about this are invalid and thus make you invalid.

  • Wow, some really short sighted comments here.

Yes, multiple monitors on a single PC is good and may be better than synergy for some tasks. But synergy has it's strengths as well ... for example it's multi-platform so you could have one computer running Windows, one Mac and one Linux all from same keyboard/mouse. You could also use it to control a laptop or netbook you've temporarily placed next to your PC.

Plus it's free so I'm not really sure what you all are whining about.

  • why would you buy four crap ass comps over an i7?! i'm damn sure the i7 is cheaper too... better price/performance ratio...

  • Here's an idea, 3 monitors... and 1 powerful PC.

  • Stop being lazy and work on your APM lol

  • sometimes it's just cooler having more systems.

long live the desktop computer! hehe

  • most people cant afford a core i7 computer though so yea....

  • too many computers lol

one core i7 portal server could smoke them all at like half the power consumption or something
