@rstp354 DeeDee lived about 500 feet from the bowling alley and about 1500 feet from her High School, McCluer. DeeDee attended McCluer High School for 2 years, then she left when they got married. Pete? Not sure if he even went to High School. From where he lived on Parker Rd, I'm sure it would have been McCluer North.

@mrbobevans Bowling and Tennis and golf are boring to watch., but I would watch bowling.

@peeky1376 They would both get the $20,000 , but at that time, Miller sponsored 3 tournaments on the tour. They offered anyone who could win all 3 of those events in a year a million-dollar bonus.
This was the last of the 3 for the year, and PDW had already won the other 2. So, he was bowling for a $1 million bonus for winning what was called the Lite Beer Slam.
