Gaunt was a pop punk band formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 1991. The song "Kryptonite" was recorded for Thrill Jockey records, on the album Kryptonite, which was released in 1996. Tragically, lead singer Jerry Wick was killed in January 2001 when he was struck by a car while bicycling home.

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting. I miss Jerry Wick every day. R.I.P., Jerry. I remember when he slept on the kitchen floor in my apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

  • I miss Jerry Wick too. I used to shoot the shit with him at Used Kids Records in Columbus.

  • Gaunt wird mir immer eine der interessanter bands der welt bleiben.

  • Awesome band! Jerry wears a rocket from the crypt t-shirt alongside Gaunt probably the greatest punk rock band in the world!

I did not know him (I'm from Italy) but I miss him too.
