It's funny how the image showing how long the standard is supposed to last til 2020 because that is when Samsung announced the implementation of 5G. What is missing is the fact that ATT data plans are terrible. They give you fast speeds with caps to how much you can use without paying extra. 25 bucks get you 5 gigs of data wow. Went to 6 Flags and was spoiled by Sprints unlimited 4G. went home and was ticked because of my terrible 3G. Sprint needs to hurry up bring 4G that 90 miles.

The theoretical download speed for 4G LTE is 100 megabits per second. For a smart phone, that is literally, lightning fast. However the only issue with that is certain carriers won't let you download a song, movie or such if it's over 50 megabytes. Even if you have a true, 100 megabit full strength connection. So far my iPhone 5 with AT&T network, I was using Nashville, TN LTE network when I went to a game, did several speed tests and got my record of 49.84 mb/s on my download. Upload was 24mb/s

Zero info again. Why do people keep making videos about "what finally IS that XYZ thing" but never bother to explain anything?

It'll allow your device to connect to and transfer data between the cloud a whole lot faster. It doesn't actually do anything to the cloud itself.
