Dishwasher the Dead Samurai Tutorials, Achievements, and High Score Demonstration Part 1 by Pazuzoo

This is a 2 part video that will show every thing from basic techniques and achievements to demonstrations of arcade level high scores. This first video contains basics and achievements so if you're interested in high scores check out video 2. Only the achievements that I get asked about the most are covered.

If you only know me from Street Fighter 4 you probably don't know what this is. The Dishwasher the Dead Samurai is an Xbox LIve Arcade title that came out in April of '09. It's a 2d side scrolling beat em up with a unique art style, the game is often called a 2d Devil May Cry if that helps. I'm the #1 ranked player in the world on Arcade mode and the Dish Challenge, and I made this to answer the most common questions that I get asked over Xbox Live constantly so I can start pointing people to this rather than having to answer the same stuff over and over. Some people on Xbox Live also caught wind of my youtube page and requested that I do this, so here it is. I do not play this game any more and do not plan to, and I hadn't played in months at the time of making this, so forgive any slight mess ups as I was quite rusty.

Man, I can't use the YXY combo on samurai difficulty. I used it to beat every boss on normal, but it's not working on samurai. To kill the viking you show in the video, for example, I had to climb a wall and keep pressing Y or X with the Kama. I killed him easily this way, but I'm worried about the later bosses. Do you have any tips for samurai mode? Thanks.

@Fabi0Franc0 Try using just the YX portion and rolling afterwards instead of finishing with the last hit, it lets you avoid attacks and recover much quicker. For samurai you can have a buddy join in on another controller to make it easier, or try to make use of the dish magic cancels that freeze time - which you can see in part 2.

@Pazuzoo360PSN Thanks, man. I saw your other video and was amazed by the dish magic cancel technique. You're really amazing. Congrats! It already helped me a lot with mobless bosses, but I end up being killed when I try to cancel magic in the middle of a crowd. So far I made it through stage 8 on samurai mode (barely) and I don't have anyone to play with, so I'll have to solo it (I'm aware about the rubber band trick, but I think it's cheating). Anyway, thanks a lot for the tutorial. You rock!
