A pacy forward with great technique and a extreme shooting ability. Always shoot his teams long distance free kicks. His unpredictable fast moves with the ball can make any defence really frustrated. A creative player who may be used alone on top as he can turn any defence inside out. Demba also is used in defence when opponents shoots corner kicks - where he reaches high.

Stats:
Häcken in Swedish first division (Allsvenskan) from September 1999 to November 2001.

Greek A-division with PAS Giannina from January 2002 to June 2002. 7 goals in 11 games. Gianninas coach Goirgios Foiros took him to Aris in Greek division A, where Demba-Nyrén became the top scorer and scored 15 goals in 19 games out of Aris 26 games in season 2002-2003.
In the end of the season Demba-Nyrén was Aris star forward. And was selected for the ALL-STAR team, where he scored two beutiful goals.

The summer of 2003 Demba moved to the Bulgarian League to play for Levski Sofia. Demba scored in a few cup games and played the UEFA-cup for Levski.

In the beginning of January 2004, top greek club Panathinaikos (PAO) bought Demba-Nyrén, where he managed to score three goals in the premiership and some goals in cup-games.That season Demba won the double with Panathinaikos i.e( THE PREMIERSHIP TITLE AND THE FA-CUP).

In the end of February 2005, Demba moved to FC Kerkira on a loan from Panathinaikos for a four months deal, scored in the first game but then got injured.

Autumn 2006 he was sold to Esbjerg in danish top league, SAS-ligaen where he played on top together with another swede, Fredrik Berglund.

The spring of 2006 Demba didn't suffer from any injury problems anymore and stunned everybody with his technique, scored six goals for Efb in the league and a bunch in the danish cup where Efb went all the way to the cup final where Randers beat them 1-0.

Spring 2006 and this autumn Demba is back in perfekt form. Playing with great confidence and having real fun. He has turned down an offer from FC Kobenhavn but if a big European club give him an offer - he might consider leaving his beloved Esbjerg.

Demba-Nyren has Swedish/Gambian nationality, and in october he finally said yes to the Gambian national team playing his first game in Algeria.
As he now has choosen Gambia, he can never represent Sweden.
