Eliane Coelho sings the aria "Quelle ivresse" of Hélène (one of her most succesful roles) from Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Jérusalem"

  • Exciting singing. The sort of aria that led people to call Verdi a voice killer.

Rather unkind to put the diva in a black robe against a black background. Practically invisible in the theater.

  • Excellent, impetuous singing! I have heard many singers in this opera (or in its similar version I Lombardi) and Eliane Coelho is by far the best interpreter of Hélène/Giselda in my opinion (Dimitrova is also wonderful).
