Yes. Property could exist without government, but it would far from be equally shared. Your concern is that you never signed a contract, and you cant simply move away from the state. Well, in pure free markets you get massive companies purchasing all land that can be usefull for anything. You wont have any more property to settle on, thats an old fashion idea from a time when the population was much smaller.

Johnson at 14:30 made a remark that was fallacious.

Firstly, The British Empire ended up crumbling under its debts.

Secondly, the TYPE of debt was different. Credit Debt Obligations and Derivatives were unheard of back then (apart from futures). Not only that, but when the USA had 110% Debt to GDP ratio, they were the centre of worldwide manufacturing. They were essentially going into their peak.

The USA is well past its peak now, so overturning this deficit will be much harder.
