This is the in-game soundtrack for the PC game "MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat" (1995) from Activision and FASA Corporation. It was composed by Gregory Alper and Jeehun Hwang.

You can actually hear all of these songs (26 in total) when you put the "MechWarrior 2" game CD in your stereo and skip track number one which is the data track.

This is the 25th music track on the CD, called "Scorching Sand".

Favorite mission, and music track for this game. If I recall it's also the first time you run into elementals.
