mousilini was more socialist than hitler, mousilini believed in fascist syndicalism

I can only be certain of my existence, referring to René Descartes 'Cogito ergo sum', other than that I'm relatively uncertain of my aggregate irrational certainty.

I've often thought that at some level 'the powers that be' were using peoples fear of 'isms' to bring about a fascist state - the way I put it would make me sound mad to anyone I expressed it to, thanks for putting it so eloquently.

Completely agree with you Stefan.

You do know that the rally was mocking Glenn beck right?
-
Wrong. Hitlers economic system was mercantilism. Jon stewart is to the left, really the rally was about retarded people from the right.

It appeared to be more like a "Rally to Restore FAITH" in middle-of-the-road, wishy washy, irrational, moderatism.

@joebardon What you mean full of common sense and uncorrupted by the insane, ludicrous and infectious hierarchical system we call 'real life'?
Common sense wisdom is like a lean body - you have it naturally when you are young..... after age 25 you have to work increasingly hard to retain it.

He sounds like a teenager who has just read an introduction to philosophy.
I love how "moderates" act like they have the most reasonable position. The moderate position is basically that the government should be gentle while they're fucking us in the ass.

@imeggman:
Since many leftists tend to view anything that strays from their particular ideology as "irrational","uncivil" or "bigoted",it's really hard to have a rational discussion in the first place.Besides,it's hard to not to have strong feelings about issues in a political discourse, when the only option for the losing side in a statist society is to play along(Even if not directly, than certainly via taxation)with the program that won the popularity contest or risk your liberty and/or life.
