Seen in this video how little respect and patience some of the young moslems against their elders and the scholar. Shame on them.

Allahuma salli wa sallim wa barik alaih wa ala alih! I LOVE Rasulullah, I celebrate Maulid everyday! :)

@mhahmad786 it all goes back to your niyah (intentions). the people of madina expressed their love and embraced the prophet by singing the ever so famous talal badru alayna. see their intention was to show their appreciation and love. but some muslims who read mawlud make it as if it was more important than reading the quran itself. i myself read the mawlid but my niyah is that it is another form of selawat that i am doing. but i dunno it all goes back to your niyah

Really its SO STUPID of that person to have been challenging Deedat, this is so typical of all these new generation impatient, intolerant "students" if it does not suit their ideology they will themselves abandon their teachers!!!
Below I have listed a few things which were not there during the blessed age of the prophet (S.A.W )but were innovated afterwards and made part of the religion:
a. Construction of Madressas
b. Dividing the Quran into thirty parts
c. Marking the expressions on the Holy Quran, viz. Fatha, Kasra, Dhamma (Zabbar, Zer, Pesh)
d. Printing the Holy Book and other religious books in the press
e. The compilation of I'lm-e-Hadith and Fiqh
f. To put down the Holy verses of the Quran in paper form, etc.

You can't just say "BIDAH", to prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) birthday. It’s very easy for a certain sect to say “Bidah” and “shirk”, with no real proof, misguided people who fall in to the sweet talk of certain "teachers" like being aggressive towards people who don’t agree with them.
