It's really hard to believe Avet reels that are small are very tough to fight that 100 pound tarpon.

cant kill tarpon, its illegal unless you buy a 50 something dollar tarpon tag (one tag per fish).
then you can wear it like a hat if you like.
they're not for eating

I have to say thats a beast, but you guys got no balls using that hand clamp thing, my uncle put on gloves and held on for dear life when i got my 80+pounder

I was fishing for sheep head and a tarpon took my bait witch was crab I was very surprised at this it was a fun fight

I hooked up with a 250pound tarpon he ran 300 yards of line out in 30 seconds before my dad could get the boat going lost him, also hooked up with a 200 pound tarpon with a 10 pound test smallest real on the boat bent the hook out we were fishing for bass not tarpon!
