I am 52 and remember watching this the first year it came out (1964?) I remember watching it with my son when he was young. Some day I'll watch it with our grand kids. This is what it's all about.

I am 50, and while I remember seeing this as a child, it became more important to me when my sons were born in the late 80's and I knew that future Christmas' would include introducing the "new" generation to the timeless Rankin/Bass Christmas specials. Ah, the memories that these shows bring back.
