Details about the track, language, lyrics and feel of the song:
This is in darbari language (Morey, toray, tosaay, saiyan etc). In eastern classical music "Khayal" (thought/idea) of any "Raag" is made so that a student can understand the core Raag as sometimes it is difficult to understand the transition of Raag thru "Sargam" (sa re ga ma pa...) esp when you are learning a couple of raags at the same time; so the Ustads came up with simple story type/situational thoughts/ideas or "Khayals" which were based on the same scale or transition of the Raaga. For example instead of saying Sa re Ga ma etc. they said Dagar Chalat... in the same tone of the Raag so that a student can easily grasp it thru a simple storyline. Hence Khayals were created, there are two types of Khayal (Chota(short) and Bara(long)), chota is usually 10-15 mins and then bara Khayal with lot of Taan goes for about an hour or so....you can check out some Khayals on youtube, just type Khayal and then name of the Raag.

Now what this specific Khayal means?
It is based on a very simple love story with 3 characters, a) a simple girl from village b) her female friend and c) her love or boyfriend. Basically she is telling her female friend that her lover/bf teases her when she walks on the path at sunset hence (Dagar chalat Chiray Shaam Saiki Re) Dagar=path, Chiray=teases, Shaam=evening, Saiki=female friend, (Main Doon Gi Gaari) means I will complain about him, (Lipat Anaari), she also misses him when he is not around so she asks the lover to hug her...Lipat=Hug
- (Paniya Barat Mori Gaagar Poori, Nazuk Baiya Maroori, Jhak Jhori) "when I was fetching water with my clay pot he threw a stone and broke it...and also twisted my delicate wrist/arm". Paniya=Pani(water), Barat=fetching, Mori=Mine, Gaagar=Claypot or Ghara, Nazuk=delicate, Baiya=wrist/arm, Maroori=twisted

this song is awesome but i hav a confusion i think itz nt bhairavi raag this song involves minor and harmonic minor notes which belongs to asavari means aeolian mode if it would be bhairavi or phrygian mode then u were using the Eb note which u didn't use..??

Hi this is Asad Q, the vocalist, yes the guitar work is mostly in harmonic minor but the vocals are all in "Shud Teevar" which is "Bhairavi". This song is a rendition of a raag into progressive hard rock music touching metal and coming back to its raga roots so wherever you hear the vocals they are mostly in Teevar but the music is progressing into different western scales.
