I'd like to see them use a real hand grenade and not an inert bag with a safety fuse sticking out. All 5 second grenades detonate in 3 seconds.

Actually that part you refer to belongs to the original "Top Gun" movie footage which WSJ edited in for comparison. It is not part of the CCTV13 TV broadcast.
