I'm hoping they'll take another crack at it. I loved the layout and design, the fact you could be other races was amazing. But.. It just sucked flat out. And they should give a free download and month to those who had to waste money with the first version. -snicker-

Ian describes this video as his "tribute to hip-hop culture." The rendered Olthoi below is one of the "revamped versions of characters from Turbine's critically acclaimed Asheron's Call. They were made for the triple purpose of getting the art dept up and running with Maya, testing our new game engine, and marketing and promotions. They went on to be used for engine/pipeline R&D during AC2 preproduction, and may even wind up in the game with any luck."

It was a hand animated Olthoi *from* AC2. It was a promotional piece for the game.
