Falling|Chapter Four

"My kits in the living room. We'll take her in there and examine her." Joe said with a small smile. Miley had this frightened look in her eyes and she clutched her hand onto mine again and hid behind me. She was like a small child, scared to visit the doctor. I sighed. This was starting to get very old. "Come on Miley. Come out behind me. We're just making sure you're okay." She slowly stuck her head out from behind me and stared at Joe. "If you hurt me in any way I'll kick your testicles. Trust me. Many girls have done that to you. Especially your ex girlfriend Taylor. She kicked you so hard that you had a ice pack on your crouch twenty four seven. So don't mess with me Joseph Adam Jonas. Trust me. You don't even want to think about it. I'll know." My mouth let a small gasp escape. Me and Kevin stared at Joe's shocked expression. His eyes ready to bug from his eye sockets. "Nick. Can I speak with you alone?" He asked sternly. I nodded and with all my strength escaped the grasp from Miley's hand on mine. I followed Joe down the hall and we made a right into our joint room. I walked ahead of him and plopped onto the mattress laying on the floor with my sheets messed up. I had both of my hands behind my head as I was staring at the ceiling. Joe gently closed the door and I could feel his eyes burn into my scalp. I sighed and turned on my side. Joe's eyes flickered back to me and my stomach. He closed his eyes. "You need to cover the scars Nick. On your stomach." He said slowly. I looked down and realized that my visible and disgusting scars were showing. The longest one running from the upper chest to my back. I sighed and pulled the shirt down to cover the reminders. I groaned and closed my eyes. Joe's footsteps approached me and he sat on the edge of the bed. Sorry.. I had to remind you, but It hurts me to see those scars." He breathed. I sighed. "Drop it Joe. Its in the past. The incident happened three years ago. I was like fifteen. Just let it go." He sighed. "Change of topic. Whats wrong with Miley?" I asked. Joe shook his head. "I want to say amnesia. When a person loses all memory and how to function." I sighed. "Then what do we do with her?" I asked. "Nick she isn't a object that we throw away. We should make her feel like this is a home." I sat up in the mattress. "Like we make this her home. Allow her to live with us this summer?" Joe nodded. "Maybe.. I'll study hard enough and figure out why she knows our whole personal life." Joe said. I sighed. It was sort of crazy that this Miley fell from the sky and was immediately my problem. Before I could speak to Joe, I heard Kevin's yelling from the living room. I quickly stood on my feet in a flash. I rushed from the room with Joe tightly at my heels. I could've been doubling over in laughter as I saw the look on Kevin's face. He had this humiliated look on his face, but then my eyes glanced at Miley. She had a razor in her hand and was shaving Kevin's sideburns off. She had him tied to the chair with a jump rope. "Please get this crazy bitch off me!" Kevin exclaimed as one full sideburn fell to the ground. I rushed to Miley and was trying to pull the razor from her grasp. "NO! Let me have the pointy sideburn cutter!" She was screaming at me. "Miley! This is dangerous. You could easily-" Before the word was gone from my mouth the razor slipped from my fighting grasp and Miley wasn't expecting to win the fight. Her hand flew back and the razor sliced her cheek. She was silent for a while. Even Joe was expecting her reaction and he was trying to un tie Kevin. Then Miley raised a hand to her cheek and bright red blood appeared on her hand. "What is it?" She asked. I sighed and approached her. "You sliced your skin open. Now the blood inside of you is pouring out." She began freaking out as soon as she heard the word slicing. Joe rushed to her and grabbed her shoulders. "Calm. The. Fuck. Down. Miley." He said slowly. She swatted his hands away and scowled. "You cannot tell me what to do Joseph. Thats what you would tell your girlfriend Demetria. Soon enough she split from you because she couldn't stand you." Miley said matter o factly. Joe had this look on his face like he'd explode. This Miley had a feisty attitude and I was attracted to it..

Hahaaa Kevin only has one sideburn now lol. I was expecting her cut to heal or something but I guess not. She's definitely a guardian angel and it has something to do with nicks scars:)
