  • At 2:12 is your shifter in 1st or Drive? My '04 shifts right at 4k when i put the pedal down from a stop and am in Drive.

  • @d4ly Hey thanks for taking the time to comment on my video.

In the entire video the shifter was in Drive, at no point was it in any other gear selection (caused by me).

  • Thanks for the video... I just pick up an '02 GC Overland this week and am looking to do the Kolak exhaust w/ a K&N FIPK. It can be hard to find well shot video's on here to get a nice example of the exhaust note.

Do you have any type of tuning done to the vehicle?

  • @supahrich Hey thanks for commenting.

Nope - No tuning at all to be honest. I am looking at SUPERCHIPS new product to be released in 2011 called VIVID! I might be a beta tester! :) It is an android based software that runs on android products, and communicates to your jeep via BLUETOOTH OBD sensor! Neat stuff to come from SUPERCHIPS -try to hold out for it! But need/recommend to run 92 octane.

  • @grantsdaman What is your opinion on the exhaust nearly a year after you posted this vid? Since my original post, I've added a K&N FIPK, Zone 4" suspension lift, 32" BFG M/T's, and an SCT tuner loaded w/ tunes from HemiFever. I haven't touched the exhaust yet, it may be something I'll finally get around to doing soon :D.

  • @supahrich Thanks for commenting on my video. I love the exhaust. Just recently though I have had to replace the 2 "pre cats" on my exhaust (note - it is not related in any way to the Kolak Exhaust i have installed). The precats were failing before replacing the exhaust and have just bit the dust. I would get this exhaust without any reservation if I had to make another purchase. Thanks!

  • YOUR ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT IS STILL ON, I HAD THIS PROBLEM ON AN 03 OVERLAND IT WOULD LOCK THE GEARS IN SECOND GEAR FOR AROUND TEN MILES AND THEN IT WOULD CLEAR. I SPRAYED AERO- KLENE 40 ALL OVER THE FUSE`S AND THEN THE PROBLEM DISAPPEARED FOR GOOD. GIVE IT A GO AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

  • I just odered my Kolak exhaust from Nick. Should be here this week. I can't wait. I went with the 50 suv since I have the 2 pre-cats and main which tend to decrease sound.

  • very nice exhaust and WJ, make more vids of it.

  • @owentimo Hey thanks for taking the time to comment on my video.

What we have here is the

    Kolak Performance 3" exhaust components

(Magnaflow high flow converter, Flowmaster 70 series muffler,3inch mandrel bent tailpipe)

Installed on my 2004 WJ 4.7 HO V8
