watching this the same day that US occupation forces are leaving from Iraq is unreal. Obama gave a speech today congradulating US soldier's for their sacrifices in liberating Iraq. Here is Chomsky three years before saying that the country has been utterly destroyed. Who do you trust anymore?

@griffo1968 It is the destruction of Jews.. along with anything non-Islamic that they want in that area. If it were anything else, peace would have been accomplished by now. Use some common sense. A country the size of NJ or so surrounded by people on all sides. What better motive is there for peace? THEY, especially HAMAS does NOT Want Peace! THIS IS FACT!

@griffo1968 Every country has something to be criticized about; however, the entire history has been distorted which is causing outright unjustified hatred for Israel. There are too many sources to ignore as well as Israeli's who know 1st hand. They are surrounded w/people who by charter want them dead. Chomsky is an anarchist but more in the long-term. It is his preferred econnomic model but he realises we are not really ready for it just as we were not really ready for capitalism 400 years ago. His analysis of US foreign policy is just a realistic way of looking at imperial power as if he were an outsider and not so embedded with the bias of the status quo.

Chomsky is a genius and anyone who can't see this is crazy. How many other ivy leaguers do you see out there telling the common man that we are being duped???
