  • I know the video is about foot work but keeping the hands down is a bad habit which is easy to get.

    Always keeping your hands up, even when doing squats, abs, stretching or trainnig foot work, reinforces the message in your brain and then comes naturally when sparring.

    Look through ElasticSteel channel, there are special exercises on keeping the hands up. As far as exercises, when in context, it's explain that you should keep your hands where your style dictates it. Not every style teaches to keep the hands up.

  • i strongly believe keeping ur hands up or not depends on the range ure fighting at ... not all the time... there are positive and negative points for keeping them up or lowering them..
