Here's another little recent project. I found a pair of junked speakers, so I decided to make one into an amplified speaker. I might get the same components and do the same for the other one, but it might not be worth it as the actual speakers are not very good. That combined with my microphone deciding to sound inexplicably tinny at the time makes the thing sound like crap, although it's actually a really good amp.

  • i got 4 x 2n3773 will they do for a amp ?

  • @TheOffPowerZero as long as they are used for the final two output transistors it should work.

  • could be a 30V power?

  • @siwy125552 I guess it could run on 30 volts, but i wouldn't try anything more than 24, somewhere between 15 and 20 volts should be ideal for this amp, I ran this on about 12v in this video if I remember.

  • what's power this amp?

  • @siwy125552 Should be somewhere between 5 & 8 watts but I couldn't get much out of it. However if you want to build some powerfull amps, check out destroyersoueu's channel, he has designed many amplifiers, and has scematics and other usefull info as well youtube.com/user/destroyersoueu . I built one and it sounds great.

  • This amplifier you are showing me is very similar to a stereo amp (1 ch.) that I built to put in a tape deck so only speakers need to be hooked up to it. The amp gets its power from the recorder's own power supply (no separate power sup. needed) works fine.

  • speakah..?

  • How you did volume control ?

  • I'm run it on about 31V and's it work .
