Unexpected Romance: Jonas Brothers Love Story (Ch.2 Pt.2)

I quick jumped into the shower and thought about Joe with a big smile on my face. I soon realized Kevin would be over soon so I finished up, getting out and drying off. I threw on a dark pair of my favorite skinny jeans and a white t-shirt with the word "love" written across it. I added a black sweatshirt matching the letters on my shirt. Finished with my outfit, I put on a little mascara, some eyeliner, and to top it off, a messy ponytail and some blush for my pale skin. I ran down the stairs shortly after I heard the doorbell. I opened the door and there stood Kevin, rubbing his arms for warmth. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and invited him inside. He followed me into the kitchen where I had a small bowl of lucky charms with barely any marshmallows. Kevin declined my offer of the sugary goodness. As soon as I finished we went into my room to talk.

"Thanks for letting me come over. I don't know why but I can't talk to anyone else about this." Kevin explained, sitting on my bed as I quickly grabbed my toothbrush and ran back into the room. "Tell me what's on your mind. I'll help you out." I said, now beginning to brush my teeth. "Ok. I'm just going to come out and say it. I like someone. A lot, but I don't know how to tell her." Kevin admitted, wiping his hands on his pants. Oh shit. Kevin Jonas likes me. My best friend likes me. I can't go out with him. I like his brother so much. He's so- "It's Erica." He said, noticing I wasn't saying anything. I held up a finger indicating I needed to spit and would be right back. Phew. I was so glad he didn't like me like that. That would have been really hard to turn down such cuteness. I went back into my room to give Kevin some advice. "Why don't you call her and see if she wants to go to Starbucks later?" I asked, slipping into my black converse. "I was thinking the same thing! Do I just tell her I like her or what?" he asked, I could tell he was starting to panic. "Don't tell her right away. Go out with her a few times, give her hints but don't just come out and say it." I said, looking at the clock that read 7:10. "Ok. Thanks. Hopefully it'll work. We better get going. I don't want you to be late for school." Kevin said, giving me a hug for my help.

We got into Kevin's car, which was next door at his house. I decided to sit in the backseat so I could have a better chance of sitting next to Joe. Kevin honked the horn and Nick and Joe walked out the front door. Joe sat in the passenger seat obviously unaware of my presence. Nick sat next to me, smiling. "Uhh...Joe-" Nick started but was cut off by Joe's amazingly deep voice. "Not now Nick. I'm freaking out! I texted McKenna last night and I said "I can't wait to see you tomorrow." Joe explained in a mocking tone. "She hasn't said anything back to me. I feel so stupid. I blew it before our date. Ugh!" Joe said, completely tweaking out.

I got my phone out of my pocket, finding the text I never did check from Joe. It said exactly what he said it did. I decided to write back to him so he could stop freaking out. Considering he still didn't know I was in the car, I didn't want to startle him by talking.

To Joey: Dont worry about anything. I got caught up in some stuff this morning and I never got around to checking my texts. Im sorry. I didnt know you would react this way. Will it make you feel better if I give you a hug when we get to school?

I waited a few seconds for it to send and for Joe to read it. It took him awhile. He must've re-read it 30 times before he finally understood I was in the car with him. He slowly turned around. I watched as his face turned bright red when he locked eyes with me.

I'll try to post chapter 3 soon. I have up to chapter 4 written and I'm working on chapter 5. So whenever I find the time to type those I will post them. :] Thanks to all my subscribers and readers. You guys are amazing. :]
