  • The Shafer Trail ends at the Crossroad to Potash Road and White Rim Trail. The Potash Road becomes the SR 279 to Moab. If you drive

the White Rim Trail a bit further you will reach

    the Musselman Arch.

  • Thanks for the reply, we went (279) as far as the Potash company, the end of the paved road. We were not brave enough to use the unpaved road except at the Capitol Gorge at the Capitol Reef. Can we reach the Musselman Arch using the extension of the 279 (unpaved road). I would like to go back to Canyonlands as we only saw the Green River overlook for lack of time.

  • Where does the road end? Thanks for being so brave to travel through this type of road.

  • pity he did not show how it looks when looking from the bottom up - seems that there can not be any road. Yet there is, and it is beautifull :)I did it this May in Jeep Laredo - relatively easy

  • awesome..just did this last week in a fj cruiser
