Whenever people descend into personal attacks they begin to lose any credibility they may have had. Thermite? May very well have been part of the devices that were placed for insurance purposes. As for 1500 architects: I don't know about the exact number on each side, but I have more than an average knowledge of Science and the principles of Architecture are not new to me. Wings? The architect of the towers has said it was designed to stand MULTIPLE HITS. Your credibility is further strained each time you stretch your theory - the fireporoofing was blown off? Please do not waste my time OR yours. You may want to buy into the standard conspiracy theories surrounding the events of that day, but I am not one to follow the herds. I do not accept the exact official panel findings/conclusions NOR do I follow the vast majority of conspiracy theories that most 'concerned' people do. I know a lot more about how agencies function and how officials/agents work/operate and how oversight works. As for the five-sided bldg in Virginia: it really was a jet.

The terrorist aircraft didn’t directly bring the buildings down; it was the fire which followed. The fires weakened the trusses supporting the floors, making the floors sag. The sagging floors pulled on the exterior steel columns causing the exterior columns to bow inward. With the damage to the core columns, the buckling exterior columns could no longer support the buildings, causing them to collapse.

You are using the wrong architectural model. WTC 1 & 2 were not built like other buildings. The NIST found that the fireproofing on the Twin Towers' steel infrastructures was blown off by the initial impact of the planes and that, had this not occurred, the towers likely would have remained standing.
