Dude....excellent...your timing is great...and on the high hat...you know the pocket....that is hard for a metal drummer...but you have it....quit sweating so much...lol
When you are/have been trying to get a song down like he doubtlessly has, you're not so concerned with energy, just accuracy and precision. You kinda save the most intense performances for your live, paying audience. To get back to the point of the headphones...One violent headbang or too much motion and oops!, there they go to join the sticks dropped earlier. :)
Anyways, great job dude. Scott's stuff is pretty complex and you nailed the hihat/ride/snare pattern.

To everyone raggin on him about any lack of emotion, enthusiasm or physical energy...
Look closely. You'll see CORDED headphones on his head. This is most commonly done to play along to the music. Most of us will never have access to the individual instrumental master tracks so we use headphones as home or monitor speakers would get drowned out by the drums.

Hey man great job, i just have one bit of contsructive criticism. Being as you were recording this and put it on Youtube, you could have gotten a little bit more into it.
Your style of play is more reminiscent of a Jazz drummer cuz your so calm. Let loose, some headbanging would look cool :)
