for the summer, the school gave everybody lists of books to read. u had to read 3 books from the list. i finished elementary, then when i was picking books i chose this, because i thought it was REALY finding alaska (country). when i got to the blowjob thingy i was like "are they sure they didnt fuck up the list?" cause they never gave books like these. but we read bridge to terabithia. it had a little bit badwords but it was fine. i read the book. i actualy LOVE the book!! :D

you might know this but:
The sexual content was to show contrast between meaningless physical attraction (the bj part) and the less sexual and more personal attraction in the next scene (with miles and alaska)

I really didn't do much reading until I was in High School, either, and began reading books my brothers and sisters suggested.
Books can change lives. Mr. Green is that kind of writer...uhm, from what I've heard about Looking for Alaska, it is a deep book.
