Hitching is not about the graphics card. The graphics card merely makes the game look nice with a good fps. Hitching is caused by lack of random memory (RAM); as the game is trying to constantly load in new scenery. 6g+ ram will ensure you will get 0 hitching in lotro. I myself have 8 gig and 2 Nvidia 8800 GTs in SLI. No hitching.
