These murals were to give the teens a positive project, a sense of pride in their work & themselves. We know there's been graffiti forever. The kids are all ages, all races and we do all live here. No there is very little for teens to do, but we have to start somewhere & the Arts or Music do help direct the youth. Most of these kids don't have much, but these projects have made a difference.These are the same kids who get shot at walking home or can't cross the street cause of rival gangs.

this is fucking stupid i live in the south side and those dont show our cultures our gulture would show graffiti and other that really express our neighborhood we thats to me

When will Angela realize that she's selling out to a bunch of white guys who only care about making real estate money? She should care more about her people than selling out to a bunch of white guys who don't give a sh*t about the local people. She needs to stop being fooled. Wake up Angela!!!!
