I have a line 6 UX2 audio interface. I am thinking to buy a pod hd. is the pod hd compatible with pod farm? and also with which software pod hd is bundled with?

He plays really good, but that software makes his guitar sound like a plastic fuzz. If you took all that nice reverb off it would be cringe worthy. I love amp modeling 'cause it's fast and convienient, but nothing yet comes close to a small tube amp pushing a speaker thru the air into a microphone.

@livemusic321 Hi. We are pretty sure this is POD Farm 2 Platinum. Thanks.

Hey guys I've got a question. I've got a Line6 POD X3 Live and I saw that it's compatible with pod farm, but I don't have an USB cable..Can I use a regular USB cable from a local shop or it must be some USBcable especially made for the X3 live? thanks

@k1kac0 You can use just a plain old USB cable. Same kind you'd use for a printer for example.

how the hell can you get sucks a clean solo sound...i've tried my best to get a good sound out of my ltd ex,500 and it never gets smooth like this.

@lunne14 what kind of pickups are on your LTD? If you have super hot pups then it can be really hard to get a super clean tone from any amp or modeling software. Hot pickups like humbuckers or active pickups send a much higher signal dB then single coils for example. The higher the or "hotter" the signal, the easier it is to clip your amp or audio interface input resulting in overdriven clean tones.

@line6movies well i have Emg's, not sure which "combo" of them but they are awesome with the rythm tone and and my normal clean tone (i have metallica as a basis) but the lead is really sharp...

@lunne14 EMG's can be pretty hot so you may want to try backing your strings away from the pickups a bit. Also, try turning the channel volume all the way up on your clean tone and keeping the gain/drive parameter down as much as possible.
