I saw the whole interview last week on Turner Classic Movies. Can you believe that Andersson was wearing white boots like a football cheerleader? And to my knowledge, wasn't that the same kind of boots that one of the female members of ABBA (the Swedish group) would wear later in the 70's?

Do you want to know what is the scary thing about Bibi Andersson? Just how much she resembles British actress Susannah York.

Funny ... I think she looks a lot like another gorgeous British actress, Susan Hampshire.

You should see Kurosawa's 'Rashamon' in which an incident is seen by 5 people all different. Because to me Bibi Anderson looks only like herself and neither like York or Hampshire.

Bibi Andersson's work in "Persona" is..from where I stand, arguably the greatest female performance of all time.

I felt at a loss when I heard he died. He was older, definetly not a "gone too soon" but I just felt blank when I heard that. I just didn't know what to do or say about that.

I felt the same way. He died naturally, and his career was over, but it still felt horrible.

Agreed. Bergman has meant more to me than any other artist. My spiritual father.
