  • i have this ball and it barely hooks and does not hit hard. we checked everything on it and it is drilled to hook the max. any suggestions?

  • @DaddyandTricky sorry about the delay. dull balls tend to hook early & flatten out on THS. I slightly polish solid shell balls, then sometimes hand sand them slightly. as CeKnauss says releases are different. I throw hard&have a slight spinner release, which gets the ball down the lane, but I need help for the ball to recover. some people say this ball hooks early & rolls out. for me it goes down & hits hard. check my viper pattern vid, see how I change release on different shots

  • @DaddyandTricky also, I'm loving the Roto Grip Critical Theory. I can play my favorite line, a more down and in shot, and it hits a ton. I tend to use the Revolver or Alpa Max when I need to move inside and swing the ball out, they seem to recover better playing inside

  • nice i have this ball too it hooks great and it is a fantastic ball im 15 and i have a 210 average i love the ball

  • @bowlacracy1, 15 and 210 average, nice work. you should get some video of yourself and post it. you could probably get some good bowling tips

  • @CeKnauss Thank you, i just recently polished this ball and it has been working great.

  • @DaddyandTricky -- Sometimes just drilling a ball for "Max Hook" doesn't work well for bowlers. Typically what the drilling does is make the ball transition in the midlane for a smoother but continuous ball motion. If you are looking for backend motion, there are drillings to better complement a sharper turn, but the ball has to skid to the friction. Those predetermined drillings also don't take into account your PAP, axis tilt, or other factors that may affect the motion, like oil pattern.

  • is it me or he throws it like a bitch o,o

  • nice run, good bowling
