  • Not one of my favorite Sabicas compositions but He was by far the best flamenco guitarist who ever lived and all these other phonies couldn't shine his shoes. When I was about 14 or so my wonderful father took me and my brother to see him perform in Manhattan and had the honor to go back stage and meet him and take pictures with him.I will treasure those pictures forever.I miss him.

  • @Rekatar Hah, if only i were born in Spain in the 50s in Aldalucia.

  • sabicas es una maquina tocando pero como compositor no me gusta nada.....

  • if only they had HD in the 70s..

  • Fuck van Halen wanker .This is sabicas.

  • @Louragu I agree with you wholeheartedly. Sabicas was probably one of the greatest ever...but there are many good players such as Ramon Montoya whom Sabicas learned from. Listen to some Pepe Martinez and Moraito etc.

  • Imo, Sabicas is not a good composer. His pieces all sound the same, hardly distinguishable from a montage of virtuosic warm-up techniques. I've never heard a piece by Sabicas where a musical idea was exposited and developed. It's similar to listening to some of the lesser works of Chopin and Liszt: all technique, little composing; one flourish after another without context. It's more like mood music or "wow" music, depending on how you want to look at it.

  • I found it, and it wasn't to this wonderful song but another. The dancer I was trying to find was Joaquin Cortes. Thanks for all your help.

  • Thank you for the information Thomeguitar
