Crash Bandicoot Prototype, Part 7: Rolling Stones

POW! They explode in nice colors, but they don't hurt you. Wonder what the idea was. Anyway, I'm seeing a lot of differences here. Especially in the box placement, but there's also some differences in the level itself. For example, those two pillars in a row never happened in the finished product. And what's with that box in the air that disappears when you get near it?

I'm gonna assume that future levels will have more changes, since this is the first with noticeable changes, this might mean this was the start of levels that weren't completely finished.

@cardenw I remember playing Bee-Having as a child when I was 8 or 9 (and I'm almost 21 now, oh my god) and on my first pass through the level ever, I sat there for a few minutes waiting for the Nitro boxes to do their little hopping. When I noticed that the jumping wasn't happening, I decided to risk an Aku Aku mask to see what would happen.

Best decision ever :D

@6thhokagephil The levels weren't created in the order they appear though, the developers had some prototypes of level templates and reused them here and there.
