Andrew Bruce, Lord Elgin, himself a decorated World War ll veteran, has been Honorary Colonel of the Canadian 31 Combat Engineer Regiment, The Elgins, since he took over from his father in 1970. Lord Elgin reflects on what the regiment has meant to Canada and to him.
