mspandabear, it looks like a male? he is sooo handsome, what is his name? was he born deaf? our bvella is more visual with toys and will go ferret nuts just dangle a toy, or drag along the couch, , where rascal could care less is you jiggle a toy, he needs squeeks before the ferret tempoary insanity sets in !

@TaHanley I don't even think my ferret would last an hour if he got outside. Whenever we go for walks he tries to "make friends" with cars and other loud noises. He would probably be roadkill within minutes of escaping the house so we are always super careful.

@letty330 Just as an FYI you are going to spend alot of money if you get one.Their food has to be meat with alot of vitamins,and they need a big big cage(unless you want is lose around the house like most people)and unless you want it to stink up your home you will have to get him/her surgery to make it not smell.Ferrets are in the skunk family

@USBornSoccerPlayer its not the environment but the ecosystem for example the non-native american grey squirrel was introduced in the UK years ago, they hunt food better, breed faster than the reds and also carry a disease that their immune to but kills red squirrels (slowly and painfully I might add) and are pushing reds into the decline, there now on the destined to become extinct list.
