You realize Aizen has been planning things against people many times. Of course Ulquiorra will try to find a way to put the Hougyoku into Ichigo without it being too suspicious.
If Grimmjow knew the Hougyoku was inside him, it may tempt him to take it for himself.
Explain to me how else Orihime is suppose to awaken the Hougyoku now?
Explain why we haven't seen the Hougyoku since that scene?

Lol what twisted world do you live in? Grimmjow explains that Ulquiorra always does that to his prey when he finishes the hunt. Pay attention. And the strange aura was Ulquiorra's.

Nothin' to laugh about.
It's a lot more logical than most other theories, just it requires some brain power to understand... So I can see some rather unintelligent people laugh at it.
Tite Kubo has never made Aizen do ANYTHING useless, and him dragging Orihime to Hueco Mundo would be useless if all he wanted to do was trap Ichigo's group there, because Ulquiorra himself could have easily taken out Ichigo, Renji, Ishida, Rukia, and Chad by himself.

Her didn't waste it. The Hougyoku... is inside Ichigo O.o
Think about it. During Ichigo's battle, he struck a hole into his chest. When Orihime was healing him she said there was a strange aura inside Ichigo, that she couldn't reject, and ever since that moment, we haven't seen the Hougyoku AT ALL.
Aizen's plan is already finished. He has no more use for her.
Now all Ulquiorra has to do, is take back the Hougyoku once Ichigo's stupid ass appears there by himself. ^_^

I am thankful that they got back on track, but one thing bothers me. I personally really hate it when authors add people into the story and have them do nothing. Especially when they have a power that you know OPPOSES GOD HIMSELF. Aizen made such a big deal out of her ability and then he just wastes it all on bait. Seriously, if someone has the ability to undo an event that god predetermined and the author justs wsate that big of an idea and all she does is play nurse, cheerleader and damsel.
