Marilyn Monroe - Rehearsal of "Person to Person" 1955 RARE !

1955 - April 8th, Marilyn appeared in "Person to Person", presented by Edward R.Murrow, on CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System).
They met at the Ambassador Hotel in New York City, in March 1955, for the preparation of the program "Person to Person".
Thr program was broadcasted on April 8th 1955 from 10.30 to 11.00 PM, from the house of Milton and Amy Greene in Weston, Connecticut.

The program was produced by Fred Friendly and directed by Don Hewitt.

The Greenes, and also Sir Thomas and Lady Beecham, appeared during the show.

Before the broadcasting, Marilyn had an anxiety attack, because she thought that her light make-up and her too simple clothes would make her appeared petty besides Amy Greene.

Marilyn was nervous during the shooting and wasn't satisfied with the result.

thank you for the video and the footage. In fact as I saw the person to person video from the Milton´s house I was also quite surprised how she looked. Amy had a big influence on her for the clothes and so on and even on pictures where I know Amy had bought that clothes I don´t think they fit to Marilyns character. I have a book writteb by Milton´s son which shows that Amy was jealous. So, the clothe sshe wore that day, I guess was another influence of Amy.
