We know that a picture tells a thousand words. This video shows that it can also play a thousand notes. Pictures of musicians hang in an art gallery and come alive to play the classic romantic tune, Salut d'amour by Elgar.

John Winchester and the Sonatabella Orchestra perform this piece with two Euphoniums, a wind synthesizer and a bass.

  • ohh.... what a lovely performance! is it me or is the 2nd frame (from the left) a Recorder.... ^^ .. i'm a young recorder player!!! hehehe

  • @JoshuaLangit123 That odd instrument can best be thought of as an electric recorder or clarinet. It is a midi instrument that is breath sensitive and has a bendable reed so it is expressive like a natural instrument, but, since it is electronic it can be made to sound like any instrument.

  • Is this GreenScreen?

  • @Warriorx645 Yes, I must confess that I do not have a magic wall of pictures... but a good green screen is almost as good so I do have an entire green wall.
