Yes, Iraq has made great progress! Here it is 2010 and Democracy is well within reach! What does this MSNBC clown have to say now? Thank you President Bush, and all the men and women who made this possible!

the normandy invasion had a clear objective, and an end to the war was in sight. 11 months later the war in Europe was over. As i write this (in May of 2009) we have been in Iraq for more than 6 years and there is no end in sight. and besides, when you adjust it for inflation, the iraq war is way more expensive (in financial terms) than the normandy invasion. Also, Germany declared war on us back then. saddam did not declare war on us in 03.

The biggest liar and dirty dog of the world

then wat would happen to all YOUR PRECIOUS OIL?!!

You must be drinking the kool-aid that makes everything perfect.
Olympics in Iraq? Not for another 1000 years.
-
And the war enemies we had during WWII were better equipped against Americans and the Allies than Iraq is against troops of today.
If you firmly believe that there will be a victory then go back to Iraq and fight until we have that victory and not the victory that Bush proclaimed in May of 2003.
-
You have the unrealistic expectation that Iraq will be free and secure for democracy.

We are suppose to be the mightiest country with the best tech weaps in the world yet this war is taking us longer than WWII. Americans didn't expect the war to last only 3 days but did expect the deaths to be over before now.
March 19th 2008 will be 5 years with no end in sight.
Nearly 4,000 troops lost their lives because Bush lied about WMD. And he didn't care how many of the troops died in the process. Just as you apparently don't care how many continue to die.
-
What Lie are Democrats making up? They are trying to fix the Bush Admin mistake that caused the 3,850 dead US troops in the first place, before any others have to die in Iraq.
Yes, progress is being made. At the cost of a lot of money and loss of US life. If they want freedom as badly as Bush says they do, then they are not showing us that they are ready.
-
hondadrift, you cannot equate victory or progress with how many people are killed. That's exactly what they did in Vietnam. If wars are won by who has the most casualties than that would mean Germany won WWII against the Soviet Union. 20-30 million Soviets vs. 8 million Germans.
