Sadly, this was one of the worst executed hostage rescue efforts ever put together. I don't blame the pilot impostors for backing out literally at the last moment. Nobody was trained properly for this mission. In hindsight, the Germans should have let the plane fly away and then the Israelis could have sent their own HRT to rescue their athletes like they did at Entebbe.
