@Ventasmentos You have considerably less than 200 million people to cover so it will be easier to do. I'm glad you like your health care system but it won't work here due to cost to individuals ie: taxpayers. I paid over 12,000 this year in taxes, I don't want\Can't afford to pay more.

In Denmark we have a fully covered health insurance. I could not be more happy about that. You don't know when you turn ill, and not everybody has the money when you eventually do get ill. Covering your own insurance is like getting fined for being ill.
Seems like American freedom chooses death over public safety.

It's going to be hard to improve care, reduce costs and cover 30 plus million more people with 45% less doctors...in fact impossible. This bill isn't about health care, it's about control.

This doctor must not make any money. How does medicare work? Physicians are pretty much working f or charity accepting medicare patients.

Well, I am for the public option. If you don't like it, then don't buy into it. Besides, we are already paying for the people of Iraq to have universal healthcare so why can they have it and we can't?
