and how about article 13 from the 1920 nazi party platform: "We demand the nationalization of all enterprises (already) converted into corporations. and how about 14? " We demand profit-sharing in large enterprises." yeah. sounds reaally capitalistic to me. or how about the rest of the nazi name? it was the "german workers party." 'nuff said

that argument is completely nonsensical. by this logic,only opposite brands of political systems could fight,the US was obviously far left; since we were fighting the "far right" nazis.give me a break.the nazis hated communists because they stole supporters from their party, just like a dog fighting a dog over a bone.

The Nazi party hated socialists/communists, to the point of trying to fight WW2 on two fronts, just so Hitler could destroy the Communist USSR. In terms of political allignment, the Nazi party was far RIGHT-wing, and including the term "socialist party" in their name was just to endear themselves to the populace in order to gain power.

for example, mcdonalds competes with burger king, correct? now, according to your view here, you must think that McD's and BK serve totally different foods. any fool can realize this is obviously wrong. they compete because they have the same foods and hence, customer base, just like the fascists and socialists shared a political base.
