Great Video, it's important to have a well seasoned Humidor to prevent your Cigars from drying out!

Can you please put a video of how to calibrate an analog hydrometer using salt? I have an Ellie Bleu and do not want to use my digital hydrometer because it really does nothing for the aesthetics of the piece.

hey! how can i get it ready in 1 day? i will receive 100 Cuban cigars for Friday and my humidor arrives on Thursday!!!! can you tell me the fastest way to reach the 75 % of humidity?
thanks a lot!

@kubsun One day is pushing the boundaries of possibly warping the wood. Keep your cubans in a ziplock bag so there is no air exchange, ideally with a humidpak of 65%-70%. Keep it shut until your humidor is ready.

and it should sound like Slam slam!! ???

No. If you hear slam slam without a whoosh just before like a "cushy air landing" of the wood top, then your seal will not be good enough to keep the humidor or your cigars hydrated. Listen carefully to the video, the whoosh is what you want.

Do you only season it when your first buy it? How come you do this?

The wood has dried during storage in a wharehouse, shipping on a truck, etc. The wood need to be able to support a humidity of around 70%, so that when you put your cigars in there, you don't dehydrate them to a crisp, but rather, keep them hydrated from 60-70% humidity.
