Thanks for the good news!

@NCCPN Thanks for the detailed reply! Lordy, this takes a long time to change laws, ugh.

They have asked Ben Scales, the drafter of the best medical marijuana bill in the nation, along with Dr. Milton Byrd, to draft a resolution and this Huge show of public support will deeply affect Raleigh and our state lawmakers, better than paid lobbyist would. Start getting your money together for the courses, and certification and then start working on your business plan.

when this bill passes i'll be first in line

The NCCPN website is far from vague. You may be looking at the MCU website. The NCCPN site plainly lists our address as 46 Haywood Street, Sutie 311, Asheville, NC 28801 so I can't imagine where you are looking unless you are on the MCU site which is located in Asheville. The office is there and ready to sign up students. Most of the instruction will be online until the law changes in this state.

NC's first Medical Cannabis University is now located in Asheville, NC. See the link from our website to this great educational resource for patients, caregivers, growers, and researchers. NC's future is Green!

When are they voting on 1380? I'm kinda confused now that I watched this video...did they vote recently?

@optikfiber Unless we can get a special vote or governor's directive, then they will vote when they go back in the spring and it will take effect on Dec. 1st of 2011. This presentation was to our western NC regional council of government. If we get a resolution here, then it will show a huge region of support for compassionate communities and the accompanying industry to our lawmakers in Raleigh. This will force them to seriously look at the industry and the full issue as a health issue.
