This is a integrally suppressed 300/221 fireball with subsonic ammo. The gun has a Hart 1 in 8 twist match barrel. Sounds good......

  • Man- That is scary quiet... sounds like dry firing!!

  • Very nice.. Was just wondering... Does this have a ported/drilled barrel?

  • Holy hell thats the quietest I've ever heard 300 whisper.

  • @subatomicparticlephy

The suppressor has chambers that allow the gas to expand in a controlled way instead of blasting out the muzzle. This reduces the sound, flash and recoil of the rifle.

  • That's not a suppressor, that's a SILENCER!

  • Thats a damn accurate, and damn quiet rig. nice nightforce.

  • Wow...that's pretty quiet.

  • @libertycansdotnet I was just curious, how does the suppressor work, I figure it spreads out the energy, but how could and attachment that's a couple inches longer lower the sound so much. I am probably thinking about it the wrong way. Also, does integral suppressor mean the the suppressor is actually built into the gun? And would it have less of a deafening effect on the sound after a couple thousand have been shot through.

  • 300/221 is nice if you reload all those spent cases, but lord help you if you have to buy CORBON all the time.

(From what I hear the dies aren't cheap either.)

J.D. Jones really did a number on the shooting world with that round, still, giving the chance to own one you I wouldn't bat an eyelash, expensive ammo & all.

Hope to see everyone at Red Hill next year, preferably in dryer conditions.
