UK TV ad for Walls Cornetto (which are still available today) that takes the piss out of O Sole Mio (hope I spelled that right) and overnight, ruined an opera song.

Update: Renato Pagliari (who provided the vocals for this ad) passed away last week. RIP

  • This ad is so old. I saw that Princess Diana was discussing this with a close friend at the time of her wedding.

  • @Jexington80 Esp as it's not from an opera!

  • @anonUK Berlusconi will also in Milan, but the facts remains that we inhabitants of northen Italy do not like being compared to the classic italian "pizza, spaghetti and mandolin" for which we consider abroad. We are the civilizaton, work and perseverance, they sing, sing and arabs seem to dwarf.
