A local number one hit for my mum (Raina) and her twin sister Rae, Mum is the browner of the two children in the picture here...was too cute to not upload)
This is from around 1960, had many a family party where this 45 was dragged out (hence the scratches and jumps)
R.I.P mum.... and rock on auntie (she's alive and VERY well) the world gets to hear you both now.

This song is not "The Call of the Bell Bird" it is "I Answered The Call Of The Bell Bird". The orignal song "The Call Of The BellBird" was written by Berard WEBB of the Australian country group "The Webb Brothers" in 1959 and this song "I answered the call of the bellbird" was also written by Berard WEBB in the same year.

@Yhgi117 I know as I've heard both versions before BUT when my mum & auntie released it that's what was erroneously on the 45 and what it was released locally as so I am labelling it exactly as it was on the 45, not what it's actually called :o)
