In the depths of space, something goes horribly wrong on the ship to Paris: Earth. In horrible bloodshed, the crew is slaughtered, as two vaguely human figures stand amongst the dead with fury and vengeance keeping their blood flowing through artificial organs and pumping pistons.

Meanwhile, as young Claudio Kilgannon enters his home, the scent of blood ever fresh and acrid, he encounters the vicious slaughter that occured only hours ago on the minute of 21:13...

...and little does he know, he will only cause more suffering as his powers develop, aided by the beast lurking in the darkness...
